10 Random hijab thoughts

Ok, so like any life change, getting accustomed to wearing the hijab presents its own scenarios and challenges. Here are some of the thoughts that have been floating through my mind so far. If you’re wondering what’s up with the hijab and why I’m wearing it, go here.

1. “Darn, I gotta go outside. Where is my scarf?”

2. “Thank the good Lord I am doing this in wintertime. I don’t know if I could do summer.”

3. “I thought this would really free me from hairstyling, but I think I’m having a bad hijab day. This seems unfair.”

4. “Where on earth are all of my scarves? They disappear the moment I need them.”

5. “This could revolutionize my wardrobe.”

6. “Oh man, I’ve got the perfect earrings to wear with this one.”

7. “That woman just shot my husband a look as if he beats me every day when he comes home.”

8. “People are staring at me instead of driving their cars. I hope no one thinks I’m paying any damages.”

9. “Take a picture, it will last longer.”

10. “This makes me feel really confident in a I’m-not-completely-exposed-to-the-world kind of way. I like that!”

Until next time,

Ren
